Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

*****5 STARS!!!! I have been coming here for years. Its always very good. I give you 5 stars on your worst day! Im sorry you have all of these negative reviews from Decatur. Every new restaurant in Decatur closes down within 2 years. If someone has time to leave shitty reviews while stuffing thier face with food, then go look in the mirror and post a pic of yourself for the world to pick you apart. First wok has done it right for years and they always will. The only mistake they have made is not having more locations!

Really disappointed with the quality of the dishes here lately, it's just not consistent at all. Got General Tso's chicken and it was cut way too small, and so overcooked and crispy it was basically just hard little nuggets of breading. It didn't even taste like chicken anymore, just fried crunch with some sauce on it. For one of the most popular dishes, you'd think they would get it right consistently. It's frustrating because sometimes it's really good, and other times it's completely terrible. You never know what you're going to get when you order here. At this point it's just not worth gambling on, especially when there are other places that are consistent every single time. Won't be risking it anymore.

The place just doesn't look clean at all, and it really turns you off before you even get your food. You can tell right away that cleanliness isn't a top priority here. It's a shame because the food is okay sometimes, but the environment just makes you lose your appetite immediately.I wish they would put more effort into keeping the place clean and presentable, because it would steer so many people away before they even give the food a chance. For a restaurant, first impressions matter so much, and walking into a place that doesn't look clean is never a good sign. I've tried giving them multiple chances but it's always the same thing. Time to find somewhere else that actually cares about how their restaurant looks.

Absolutely disgusting food quality, this place should be ashamed. Ordered lunch with some coworkers and it was absolutely terrible. My chicken smelled completely rotten and was a weird off color, like it had gone bad days ago. My coworker's noodles had such a foul odor to them it was actually hard to be in the same room with. Called to let them know about the serious issues with our food and they didn't even care. No apology, no offer to fix it, nothing. How do you serve food that's this bad to people and not even feel bad about it? This is completely unacceptable, especially when people are paying good money for their meals. We will absolutely never be ordering from here again, and we're warning everyone we work with to avoid this place too.
